Switched from windows to linux a few months ago and I have had very few issues when it comes to gaming on linux when compared to windows. I play many games through Steam, even just released and early access without issues. I'm getting 4x-5x performance comparing vanilla to sodium on both my gaming PC with an AMD GPU (windows and linux), and on my surface laptop with windows 11. But when Linux users are heralding this great moment for gaming on Linux, people on the outside might be thinking, wow, if gaming on Linux is that good, maybe I should try it too. Destiny 2 was the only borked game on my list. Right now, gaming on Linux is mostly a political statement for people that USE Linux for EVERYTHING in the first place: You don't go on to game on Linux IMO.
